Dr Charise Deveney
Principal Clinical Psychologist
Dr Charise Deveney is the founder of Let’s Talk Psychology Practice and Principal Clinical Psychologist. She specialises in the treatment of perinatal and infant mental health from the time of conception, through birth, in parenthood, and beyond.
Charise also has a vast range of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults manage
depression & anxiety, self-esteem, and life stressors.
Charise has co-developed a number of training programs and thoroughly enjoys facilitating group-based workshops.
With a focus and passion for health and wellbeing, Charise works from a whole of health model with her clients.
Dr Lara Winten
Lara specialises in the treatment of children and adults presenting with anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and mood disorders.
She also specializes in working with adults and adolescents to address common life stressors, including relationship and health stressors, and problems relating to self-esteem and interpersonal communication.
Sally has over 20 years experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, complicated grief, trauma and addiction.
Sally provides psychological interventions to families, children, adolescents, and adults. Sally has a special interest in supporting women and men to navigate through their adjustment to pregnancy and into parenthood.
Anna is skilled in helping young people and adults cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship issues. She has a genuine interest in people and their stories and guiding them towards a more positive and empowered life.
Anna also has a special interest in working with individuals in the perinatal period and understands how crucial it is to have maximum support during this major life event.
Nick has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across a variety of settings. He has treated clients experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioural concerns, adjustment, stress, grief and trauma.
Nick draws upon evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to determine which therapeutic approach would be most beneficial for the client in order to reach their treatment goals.
Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Olivia has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She is experienced at providing treatment for various presentations including anxiety, depression, academic or work-related stress, low self-esteem, panic symptoms, child behaviour problems, and parenting stress.
Olivia also has an interest in Perinatal mental health and specifically supporting new and soon-to-be mothers with their transition into motherhood and parenting.
Kristina Le Marne
Kristina is experienced at providing individually-tailored, evidence-based treatment for a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, relationship issues, life transitions/adjustments, trauma and grief.
Kristina aims to create a safe space for clients to feel heard, valued, and supported. She strives to improve the quality of life of all who walk through her door and values working collaboratively with her clients to improve their overall wellbeing.
Emma has considerable experience providing support to children, adolescents and adults presenting with anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, childhood behavioural problems and attachment issues.
Emma has a special interest in perinatal and infant psychology and is passionate about assisting parents in establishing secure and resilient relationships with their infants/children, giving them the strength and resilience to overcome the challenges and allow the joy that parenting brings.
Emily specialises in treating symptoms of low self-esteem, perfectionism, anxiety, panic, obsessions and compulsions, depressed mood, and trauma. She also specialises in supporting people who are experiencing relationship difficulties, parenting difficulties, work/study and other life stressors, grief and loss, and difficulties adjusting to life change.
Emily is devoted to supporting her clients to increase their self-understanding, improve their emotional wellbeing, ignite their self-compassion, move closer to their values, build healthier relationships and experience more joyful, meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Karina has over 15 years' experience in the field of counselling and mental health. She works with adolescent and adult clients presenting with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, pain management, workplace issues, relationship problems, and substance dependency.
Karina provides a safe and non-judgmental environment for people to explore the difficulties they are facing. She is receptive to individual needs and works flexibly to select the most appropriate therapeutic modality based on the presenting issue.
Utsa is passionate about facilitating positive change in the lives of children, adolescents, adults and families. She is experienced in providing treatment for a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and study-related issues such as perfectionism and procrastination.
Utsa has also worked with families to help parents better manage child behaviour and emotion regulation. Utsa works collaboratively with families to provide strategies to help them feel more in control and confident in order to live healthier and happier lives.
Jowell is a clinical psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents and families. Her expertise includes early childhood challenges such as anxiety, low mood, attachment issues and neurodevelopmental difficulties, as well as working with school-aged children and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety and emotion regulation difficulties, and risk concerns.
Jowell has a special interest in family-based treatment approaches across the lifespan and works within a family-based model of care where individuals are considered as part of the wider family system.
Clinical Psychology Registrar
Lea has worked with children, adolescents and adults, and is experienced at providing psychological treatment for a range of different presentations such as anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination, depression, stress, and sleep difficulties. Lea also helps individuals adjust to health issues and managing eating / body image concerns. Lea has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and is committed to support women adjust to this period of life.
Lea aims to create a safe space and works collaboratively with her clients. She draws from evidence-based practice and tailors treatment to the individual needs of her clients to best address their difficulties.
Jen is the Practice Manager for both locations and the beating heart of our business! She is responsible for the day to day running of our practices.
Jen is caring and compassionate with background studies in social work and a working knowledge of the clinical presentations and referrals made to Let's Talk Psychology Practice.
Louise is a mum of 4 and joins the Let’s Talk Team as our dedicated perinatal and women’s health pilates instructor. Louise also supports client relations at Let’s Talk.
Deb works as part of the client relations team at Let’s Talk Psychology Practice Turramurra. Deb will warmly answer your phone calls and welcome you into the Practice.
Charlotte works as part of the client relations team at Let’s Talk Turramurra. Charlotte is empathic and warm in her approach and is concurrently undertaking studies in Psychology.
