Dr Charise Deveney
Principal Clinical Psychologist

Dr Charise Deveney is the founder of Let’s Talk Psychology Practice and Principal Clinical Psychologist. She specialises in the treatment of perinatal and infant mental health from the time of conception, through birth, in parenthood, and beyond.
​
Charise also has a vast range of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults manage
depression & anxiety, self-esteem, and life stressors.
​
Charise has co-developed a number of training programs and thoroughly enjoys facilitating group-based workshops.
​
With a focus and passion for health and wellbeing, Charise works from a whole of health model with her clients.
Dr Lara Winten
Clinical Psychologist
​
Lara specialises in the treatment of children and adults presenting with anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and mood disorders.
She also specializes in working with adults and adolescents to address common life stressors, including relationship and health stressors, and problems relating to self-esteem and interpersonal communication.
Sally Freedman
Senior Psychologist
​
Sally has over 20 years experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, complicated grief, trauma and addiction.
Sally provides psychological interventions to families, children, adolescents, and adults. Sally has a special interest in supporting women and men to navigate through their adjustment to pregnancy and into parenthood.
Anna Waddington
Senior Psychologist

Anna is skilled in helping young people and adults cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship issues. She has a genuine interest in people and their stories and guiding them towards a more positive and empowered life.
Anna also has a special interest in working with individuals in the perinatal period and understands how crucial it is to have maximum support during this major life event.
Nick Whitehead
Clinical Psychologist

Nick has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across a variety of settings. He has treated clients experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioural concerns, adjustment, stress, grief and trauma.

Nick draws upon evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to determine which therapeutic approach would be most beneficial for the client in order to reach their treatment goals.
Olivia Boyle
Clinical Psychologist Registrar

Olivia has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She is experienced at providing treatment for various presentations including anxiety, depression, academic or work-related stress, low self-esteem, panic symptoms, child behaviour problems, and parenting stress.
Olivia also has an interest in Perinatal mental health and specifically supporting new and soon-to-be mothers with their transition into motherhood and parenting.
Kristina Le Marne
Clinical Psychologist

Kristina is a warm and welcoming Clinical Psychologist who has over 10 years of experience working in mental health.
​
Kristina values finding the balance between holding a safe space for feelings to be expressed and processed, helping clients better understand themselves and tap into their existing strengths, and being directive with new strategies. She is passionate about tailoring evidence-based strategies to her clients' unique goals and needs, whether that be unpacking the past, working on being present or focussing on a better future.

Kristina has a specific interest in antenatal and postnatal mental health, anxiety and related disorders (including OCD and specific phobias), and low self-worth. She also sees a range of presentations including mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorder, grief, trauma, burnout, perfectionism/people-pleasing, and attachment, parenting and relationship difficulties.
Emma Smith
Psychologist

Emma has considerable experience providing support to children, adolescents and adults presenting with anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, childhood behavioural problems and attachment issues.
Emma has a special interest in perinatal and infant psychology and is passionate about assisting parents in establishing secure and resilient relationships with their infants/children, giving them the strength and resilience to overcome the challenges and allow the joy that parenting brings.

Emily is a warm, compassionate, and insightful Clinical Psychologist who is honoured to have had over 15 years of experience supporting her incredible clients. Emily provides a gentle, nurturing, and non-judgemental space for her clients to tell their unique life stories and navigate their mental health needs.
Emily is devoted to supporting her clients to increase their self-understanding, improve their emotional wellbeing, ignite their self-compassion, move closer to their values, build healthier relationships, and ultimately experience more joyful, meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Emily’s specialises in supporting clients with low self-worth, perfectionism, anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, attachment issues, relationship difficulties, parenting difficulties, issues associated with being a teen, work/study stress, general life stress, grief and loss, perinatal issues, issues associated with perimenopause, and difficulties adjusting to life change.

Eva is experienced in supporting adolescents and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem issues, interpersonal difficulties, adjustment, life stressors and trauma.

Eva has a special interest in perinatal and infant mental health, having previously worked for the Centre of Perinatal Excellence and undertaken research into birth trauma. She is passionate about supporting parents through the journey of conception, pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Karina Alouisa
Psychologist

Karina has over 15 years' experience in the field of counselling and mental health. She works with adolescent and adult clients presenting with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, pain management, workplace issues, relationship problems, and substance dependency.

Karina provides a safe and non-judgmental environment for people to explore the difficulties they are facing. She is receptive to individual needs and works flexibly to select the most appropriate therapeutic modality based on the presenting issue.

Utsa is experienced at providing evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults presenting with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, work or study-related stress, perfectionism, grief, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions.
Utsa understands that seeking therapy can be a daunting experience and therefore aims to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She works collaboratively with her clients to help them navigate the difficulties they are facing, develop resilience and improve their overall well-being.
Jade Forster
Counsellor - Individuals, Families, Couples

Jade is a qualified Counsellor and Circle of Security Practitioner. She works with individuals, families and couples to support them as they navigate life's challenges.
Jade is experienced working with people who are managing big life shifts or stressful events, such as career pressures, pregnancy, new baby, parenting, divorce/separation, retirement, loss of someone or something special, HSC/study & school pressures.
Jade's approach is caring, compassionate and practical. She uses a variety of therapeutic interventions and coaching tools that are tailored to each person's needs and goals. She works with clients to feel more regulated and more in control with tools that can be applied in every day life.
Deb, Marie & Kelly
Deb, Marie and Kelly are our AMAZING admin team and the beating heart of our business. These compassionate women are responsible for the day to day running of our practice. You'll speak to our admin team when you call the practice to book your first appointment and they'll look after any needs you have. The reception operating hours are 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
