We also provide employer-funded, confidential 1:1 counselling sessions for employees. Our customers use these programs as a way to care and support their employees, especially if they are facing a tough time either at work or in their personal lives. We use a person-centred, short-term model (six sessions), designed to cover:

• first line support, checks for client safety & problem identification (sessions 1-2); 

• early development of insights & strategies (sessions 3-4); and

• solution development & referral to appropriate mental health supports and services if required (sessions 5-6).

 

This model enables employees to access mental health support much quicker than many public and private institutions and provides a "first step" for many who might not otherwise seek help.

 

How it works
Sessions are 50 minutes each, held online via a telehealth platform and will be available in business hours and after-hours, depending on the needs of the employee.

 

Reporting
We do not provide information on who is accessing the service or session information. However, we can provide data on the collective number of sessions in a given timeframe and de-identified client-rated feedback on the effectiveness of the program. We will protect client confidentiality in line with the Australian Counselling Association's Code of Ethics & Practice.

 

Cost
The cost of the Short Term Counselling / Coaching Program (up to 6 sessions) is $1200 +GST per person. We are able to provide fewer sessions if required so please contact us and we'll make something work for you and your employees.
